Rules for Processing Personal Data
Hotel Górsko processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR) and applicable national data protection laws.
When making a reservation, Guests are required to provide personal data necessary to confirm the booking and ensure proper identification.
Before the stay begins, Guests complete a registration form at the reception desk. Providing full name, residential address and ID document number is mandatory in order to conclude the accommodation agreement. Failure to provide required data will result in the inability to provide hotel services.
Guests are requested to present a valid photo ID for verification purposes.
Providing an email address for marketing communication is voluntary and requires separate consent.

1. Purpose and Legal Basis for Data Processing
Personal data are processed for the following purposes:
- Conclusion and performance of the accommodation agreement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR),
- Compliance with legal obligations, particularly tax and accounting regulations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR),
- Establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest),
- Marketing of the Hotel’s own services – only based on granted consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Consent for marketing purposes may be withdrawn at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
2. Video Monitoring
The Hotel operates CCTV monitoring to ensure the safety of Guests and protection of property. The legal basis for processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).
Recordings are stored for a period not exceeding 3 months, unless they constitute evidence in legal proceedings.
3. Data Recipients
Personal data may be shared with:
- IT service providers and software suppliers,
- Accounting service providers,
- Transport companies (upon Guest request),
- Legal advisors,
- Authorized public authorities where required by law.
Personal data are not transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
4. Data Retention Period
- Contract-related data – in accordance with statutory retention periods and limitation periods,
- Marketing data – until consent is withdrawn,
- CCTV data – maximum 3 months, unless required for legal proceedings.
5. Rights of the Data Subject
Each Guest has the right to:
- Access personal data (Art. 15 GDPR),
- Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR),
- Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- Object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR),
- Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR where applicable).

6. Right to Lodge a Complaint
Guests have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: President of the Personal Data Protection Office (PUODO), Poland.
