To make your stay comfortable and stress-free, it’s worth being well prepared – both for the underground tour and city walks. Here is a practical checklist of what to pack for a 2-day trip.

What to Pack for 2 Days in Wieliczka + Salt Mine

Essentials

ID documents (ID cards, student cards – useful for ticket discounts)
Tickets / hotel and Salt Mine reservations
Phone + charger / power bank
Wallet + cash (for small purchases, snacks, ice cream)

Clothing

For adults and children:
- Comfortable sports shoes (over 800 steps in the mine)
- Warm sweatshirt or jacket – temperature in the mine ~17–18°C
- Casual clothes for city sightseeing
- Underwear, socks, pajamas
For toddlers: extra change of clothes

Water bottle for everyone
